Serving the Church
Strengthening the Nation.
The PPC operates within a federated structure that balances spiritual oversight with sound administration. Our leadership is entrusted with guiding the Church in doctrinal integrity, strategic direction, financial stewardship, and pastoral care.
Every leader serves with the understanding that authority flows from submission — and that leadership is ultimately an act of service to Christ and His Church

He met his wife, Mimi, whom he married in 1978. Together they were blessed with two children, Mario and Nichole.
Although he had ministered as an evangelist from his youth, Dr Landman entered full-time ministry in 1982 in the Pentecostal Protestant Church (PPC) at Robertsham, Johannesburg South. His leadership abilities soon became evident, and in 1985 he was appointed as the first Youth Director of the PPC, a role he fulfilled with distinction for nearly a decade. He played a key role in developing youth structures and mobilizing evangelistic outreach across South Africa. In 1994 he accepted the call to serve as presiding pastor of the Benoni (Koinonia) assembly, while also providing regional leadership within the East Rand.
Dr Landman’s most notable contribution came through his national leadership of the PPC. In 1999 he was elected President of the organization during a significant period of transition. Under his guidance, the church navigated structural changes and strategic development. In later years he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors, providing continuity, wisdom, and long-term vision. His national leadership spanned approximately twenty-five years, leaving an enduring imprint on the denomination.
During this season, initiatives such as the Beula Park Trust and several supportive ministries were established, further extending the church’s influence in missions, training, prayer, and community impact. His involvement showed that he was not only a shepherd of people’s souls, but also a capable leader in the organization of the church.
Since 1993 he has led the Paarl congregation in the Western Cape. For more than 25 years he served as Chairman of the Western Cape Association and led his congregation with wisdom and stability. His influence extended far beyond the walls of the church.
For 20 years, Pastor Young was the voice behind the radio program Life in the Word, where he shared the gospel and inspiration with listeners week after week. He also played a significant role in the local Bible School PBTC, where he contributed to the spiritual formation of many believers and Pastors.
His involvement extends even further – as a member of the PPC Board of Directors, he used his experience and vision to provide strategic guidance.
